Pastor Adam in the jungle!
I'm with a family near the city of Iquitos, in the Amazon jungle. That's their house you see in the background!

Why we do what we do

Monday, September 22, 2008

Hello friends! Pastor Adam here, writing from our home in Lima. If you take a look at the pic on the right, you'll see a lot of faces and a lot of smiles. Behind these smiles are stories of changed lives, lives that have been touched and transformed by the love of God.
These are some of the people who now form part of Life and Truth Church in Lima, Peru. They come from different backgrounds. But they all have one thing in common. They have been united by a common goal and a common faith and a true love. I've spent time with them, prayed with them, counseled them, and watched them grow in thier walk with Christ.
God truly has done real miracles in their lives. They are learning how to walk by faith, living according to the word of God. Depending on the Spirit.
"My life for the gospel!" one man of God once boldly proclaimed. As you look at these smiling faces, my prayer is that you will begin to understand why we do what we do. Life in Peru is not easy, but the rewards far outweigh all discomforts. Thank you for your prayers for these sheep!
Blessings from Peru,
Pastor Adam
